Homemade chocolate flan: feel good indulgence

Slowly and gently falling into fall, comforting and easy sweet recipes to make evenings or weekends even more cosy...

After the baked fruits last month, we are sharing another feel good and healthy homemade recipe. Easy to bake with the children, they’ll be so happy with the result! Prepare them in advance, go for a walk and you’ll be back right on time to enjoy them just lukewarm!

Ingredients :

-  4 fresh eggs

-  1/2 l whole milk

-  60 g (1/3 cup) sugar

-  75 g (1/2 cup) dark chocolate grated

 

 

Method:

-  Switch on the oven on 180° C or 350°F

-  Put the milk in a saucepan on medium heat and gently bring to a boil. In the meantime, beat the eggs and the sugar until smooth. Grate the chocolate.

-  When the milk is boiling, take it out of the fire and put in over the grated chocolate. Stir to get an homogenous mixture.

-  Add the chocolate milk to the eggs and sugar. Stir.

-  Put the chocolate cream into little ramekins and put in a big dish in a bain marie with hotwater. In the oven for 20 min.

-  Let cool and eat lukewarm. You can add candied fruits or grated chocolate. And don’t hesitate to look at previous recipes to bake madeleines or another delicious cake to go with them!
