More than clothing, Belle Vie creates items made of sweet Childhood memories, made to last and be passed within families and communities.
Inspired by the everlasting antique Trousseaux of our grand-mothers and great grand-mothers, our mission is to craft timeless and sensitive creations.
Designed in Paris, each piece of the Trousseau line is a mix of French high quality fabrics and refined antique French lace and buttons, sourced with love & patience from the 1900’s to the 1960’s.
Giving a new birth to those precious treasures is our way to celebrate the « savoir-faire» and the traditions.
Each garment is thus a unique mix of old & new
This story was inspired by my grandmothers and great grandmothers.
They used to sew, embroider, mend, love their clothes and linen.
Just as they would pass on this family heritage and their savoir-faire to the next generation, we create timeless and high quality pieces to become a refreshed trousseau to cherish and pass on.
