Bonjour has been part of Belle Vie’s adventure since day one. That’s why we are happy to present to you the talented stylist behind it, Anne Millet. She is telling us everything about her work and inspirations.
Anne, who are you and what is your background?
I have been a stylist for 20 years in children's fashion. I created Bonjour in March 2014.
What is “Bonjour”?
Bonjour is a collection with an elsewhere taste and flavor of past times (linen, dressing room for kids & women, accessories)
Where do you find your inspiration?
I like soaking up the colors and materials found in the markets on the other side of the world
What’s your favorite place to think and create?
India and Morocco for the richness of their handicraft. The Maeght Foundation, the Louisiana Museum.
Tell us more about your home and how you decorate it?
Some colors “rose and green”, part of the original tile, plants, a vegetal wallpaper from Cole & Son.
How would you define the french “art de vivre”?
Great French artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Sonia Delaunay, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Jacques Demy, who are inspiring and always will be.
What makes you the happiest?
Travel.
What does beauty mean for you?
Harmony, uniqueness & personality of a place or person.
What is your motto?
Believe in your dreams. Even the wildest ones!

Favorite place in Paris: A walk in the Luxembourg Garden, to contemplate Paris from the roofs of Beaubourg, have a “Thé a la Menthe” (Mint Tea) at the Paris Mosque, to have dinner at the restaurant “La Coupole”
